1. Send us your assessment notification from the town or your tax bill upon receipt.
2. GGP will analyze your assessment and det- ermine if your property is over-assessed.
3. If we find that you have a strong and valid case for appeal, we obtain your approval and proceed with the process. GGP will prepare and file all the necessary documentation with the town on your behalf. We will also develop the arguments, collect evidence and appear before the Assessor or Board of Appeals (BAA) on your behalf. Each town has specific deadlines that must be met to appeal the property tax, we will monitor these for you.
GGP’s fee structure is to split the first year’s savings with the homeowner, 50/50. If you do not receive a reduction in your assessment there is no cost to you.
